Kadipur is located at 26.17°N 82.38°E. It has an average elevation of 90 metres (295 feet).It is situated at the bank of Gomti River between two tourist destination BIJETHUA MAHAVIRAN(where kalinemi rakshas was killed by Hindu god Hanuman) & DHOPAP(where God Ram took bath after vadh of rakshasraj Ravana while returning from Lanka on suggession of Guru Vasistha). City also comprises a big entertainment place named as “YAMUNA PALACE” which is made in respect of late SHREE YAMUNA PRASAD SINGH.The inauguration of palace was held on 28 December 2004 by Mr. S. C. Sharma (district majistrate of sultanpur) in presence of Shree Shailendra Pratap Singh (M.L.C., sultanpur).

Jagdishpur, Barwaripur, Katsari, Luxmanpur, Higun Gaura, Kotiya and Saray rani are the major villages of tis tehsil. Few good schools in the town are Xt. Xaviers, Sarawati Shishu Mandir & Vidya Mandir, Malti Convent, Shri Ram Shikshan Sansthan,National Inter College, Sant Tulsi Das P. G. College .
